About
Before the Rock Era, the music played at dance venues was played by Big Bands. Largely instrumental at first, singers began to front the Big Bands, and these became the most heralded voices in the history of recording. This 3 CD collection contains original recordings of the finest female divas ever. Artists include: Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday & more.
