About
Germaine Tillion (1907-2008) was a French ethnologist and historian with an extraordinary career. She was a student of Marcel Mauss, a member of the Resistance in the Musée de l'Homme network, deported to Ravensbrück from 1943 to 1945, and committed throughout her life to the rights of women, prisoners and decolonisation. "Le Harem et les cousins", is her masterwork. She draws a relevant and disconcerting analysis of the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern world. MP3 Audiobook in French.
