Over the centuries thousands of musical treasures came to be through the choral tradition of the British cathedrals and universities. Notable composers such as William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, and Charles Villiers Stanford are contributors to this lineup of English sacred choral music which travels through the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries.
