About
A Polish composer endowed with sensitive and bold artistic views, Karol Szymanowski (1882-1937) is perhaps one of the most authentic heirs to the musical and pianistic realm of Frederic Chopin (1810-1849). The two composers share an irresistible attraction to memory, a fondness for an intangible yet inextinguishable voice of the soul. This album offers a journey through the various works and stages of their respective creative lives, the Mazurkas in particular, which obviously bring the two men closer to each other from an emotional perspective.
