The album also features 'Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis' by Piers Connor Kennedy, commissioned for the choir.
Critic reviews
“Jonathan Dove has Mary and Simeon shimmering, dancing, galvanizing, and offering comfort in 10 lovely minutes of musical prayer.”
American Record Guide, American record guide critics’ choice 2024, January 2025
“Andrew Nethsingha leads a performance that is ideally light on its feet – the same goes for George Herbert’s delivery of the organ part.”
